Baking with room-temperature ingredients is one of the most important yet most overlooked aspects of the sweet, sweet science.  If I know or have any idea I'm going to bake something after work I pull out a stick of butter as I'm running out the door. I always forget about those damn huevos though. So without further a due, my favorite trick: Place eggs in a medium bowl and fill with hot water, let them sit for 10 minutes. BAM! Room temp eggs.
