I ♥ Mom

I took on a challenge this Mother's Day. In case you didn't know, I'm a part-time nanny for the cutest kids in Boulder, Abby and Spencer. Their parents asked me if I'd be up for putting together a Mother's Day brunch for them and some friends. I jumped with joy and obviously accepted the offer.
Grocery shopping yesterday was a blast, I strolled around the store with a ridiculous grin on my face. I made cupcakes last night and cooked this morning at their house. All the guests arrived after church and were just thrilled with my activity in the kitchen. Bottles were popped, bloody marys were poured, and appetizers were enjoyed. It was time for lunch and I informed everyone of the dishes as they circled around the table. I offered them my creations and show them to you with so much joy.
Happy Mothers Day!

I'm so blessed to work for such a great family who appreciate me and believe in me. This was my first time catering and they handed it over to me like I'm a pro. It was a great success and I'm so proud!
